Born to parents and grandparents who were sharecroppers, Thad was instilled with the importance and desire to own property at a young age. He was raised on the farm where he worked and learned the art of land stewardship. After his years serving in the US military as a marine, where he was also trained to cruise timber in his free time, he decided to come back home to Mississippi where he began to buy and sell timber and timber land. Thad brings over thirty years of buying and selling properties all over the southeast and midwestern united states to the table. In his thirty plus years he has bought and sold hundreds of farms, commercial, and residential properties as well as over a 100,000 acres of timberland.
