Lake was born and raised in Central Mississippi and was introduced to the hunting culture early on. This led to him developing a strong love for wildlife and wild places at a young age. Most of his childhood and young adult years were spent in the woods or on the water, which eventually led to him attending Mississippi State as a wildlife, fisheries, & aquaculture science major. In 2014, he got a job as a videographer at Primos Hunting. This was a dream job situation, getting to spend ample amounts of time in the woods and getting to gain a deeper knowledge about hunting, land and wildlife management, and even marketing. This influence and experience led to an interest in real estate which has turned out to be one of the more gratifying endeavors of his life. Getting to take what he’s learned about land and hunting, and use that to help someone else find the property they’re looking for is incredibly rewarding.
