Cheryl Gray

Cheryl was born and raised in the close-knit community of Utica, Mississippi, where she still lives today with her husband, Michael, and their two sons, Eli and Tucker. A proud graduate of Hinds Community College, she continued her academic journey at Mississippi College, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education followed by a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling.

With a deep passion for education and student development, Cheryl devoted 25 years to Hinds County Public Schools, impacting countless young lives as a dedicated educator. She later brought her experience and heart for service to Central Hinds Academy, where she continued her work for another seven years.

Outside the classroom, Cheryl enjoys exploring new places and cherishing quality time with her family. Whether she’s on the road or at home, her commitment to nurturing and guiding others shines through in all she does.
