Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ben has been passionate about the outdoors since he was introduced to the hunting culture at a young age. Ben cut his teeth in the Atchafalaya Basin with his father hunting Woodcock over German Shorthaired Pointers, and Duck Hunting in the marshes of south Louisiana. This is where his passion for the outdoors began. Being from the state dubbed “The Sportsman’s Paradise” Ben is no stranger to most things involving the outdoor way of life.

After growing up a mile from LSU’s campus, and graduating from Dunham in 2011, Ben decided to leave home to attend The University of Mississippi. His time at Ole Miss opened his eyes to the amazing hunting opportunities outside of the Bayou State, which he took full advantage of. Spending his winter breaks from the Arkansas timber to the dry fields of North Dakota, Ben has years of experience chasing Waterfowl up and down the Mississippi Flyway. When things warmed up after Turkey season, Ben spent his college summers on the coast running inshore and offshore fishing trips for a private client out of Grand Isle.
